Dr Beo Thai's approach to teaching is about making learning possible. To eliminate barriers to student learning, Beo’s teaching practices consist of three distinctive components: (1) cultivating positive and inclusive learning environments that encourage deep approaches to studying, (2) designing constructively aligned assessment tasks and imaginative learning resources that encourage active and self-regulated learning, and (3) enabling and influencing others to improve teaching, learning and the student experience.
He has been actively contributing to excellence in teaching and learning at UOW in his other roles, including Head of Students (2021-2023), CPD Portfolio Reviewer (2021-present), and UOW Accredited Reviewer (2021-present).
